The top was chopped 3". Even with the original car being stored inside for 70 plus years the wood was "too dry"
and had to be replaced.
Fire wall was modified to fit the new 502/502HP Chev Ramjet motor, top filled, new steel
floors, rear wheel wells modified for bigger
tires, corners rounded on rear deck, rear roll pan and doors modified.
No bondo in this car!
 
Check out the ride height on this car. Halibrand 1 piece 5 spoke wheels and quick change. This Kugel front end
sitting at "ride height", was the result of careful planning done before we built this chassis. The "ride height" and "look" was planned in the early design phase. This car rides like it was on air. The grill shell was custom built out
of stainless flat stock with special dies to roll the bars . |
